MY BAND OF BROTHERS
as i reflect back on last year i am very proud of our season and how well we fought.and the fact is that we succeeded a lot more times than we failed.we were the regular season champs at 9-1,two years in a row being reg season champs is not too shabby.and we lead the league with a league leading 271 points for, inspite of pulling in the reins in a few games.the nearest team was 50 pts behind.we gived up the least amount of points 103 in 10 games inspite of numerous key injuries, which was better than the previous best 104 pts we gived up in 9 games 3 years ago.we were able to shut out clinton 26-0 and keep the league's best offensive teams in check.we were just one play(ONE PLAY) away on a fourth down play from being in the big dance 3 years in a row.
we have the best and most dedicated coaches in this league and i want to give my heartfelt thanks to coaches jackie, sean, ryan, john and mike for devoting so much of their time and the numerous sacrifices to make us a better team.it was so obvious during the all star game how much better our coaches were than the other coaches in the league, other players noticed it too.
u dont drown by falling in the water,u drown by staying there.lets get our workouts in call ur friends and encourage each other and show up in the best shape ever.and recruiting is the key this offseason tell ur friends and just spread the word we need to be deep and talented.i have always believe that whatever keeps us together is stronger than anything trying to pull us apart.what we think, what we know and what we believe is in the end of little consequence.the only consequence is what we do and that begins now, lets build that foundation this offseason that our success during the season will stand firmly on.......TOWNIE 4 LIFE,card punching employee #19
